2011 saw a ton of new Netflix competitors come on the scene. Netflix isn’t the only game in town–we’ve got RedBox, Hulu, Amazon, Apple, YouTube, and don’t forget video on demand. Netflix stock is on a tear today, jumping almost 20%, a huge increase off a great quarterly earnings announcement. Wall Street is reacting very positively–a ton of individual investors who own Netflix in their Roth IRAs and 401Ks are making a bundle of cash today! But so what, that’s just expectations, the simplest question that will tell us how Netflix will fare in the future is, “How likely would you be to recommend Netflix to a friend?” Let us know in the comments below!

NO! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND NETFLIX! Connectivity issues are a nightmare. When a movie stops to reload more than 6 times in 10 minutes. I give up on it, even when it’s in the middle of a series I’ve been watching. I lost count of how many partial series I’ve started and stopped because of lousy streaming. I’ve been told time and time again it’s my internet speed, but that’s just an excuse. My internet speed is just fine, thank you very much. Thanks God there’s competition on the horizon!

No! I would not recomment Netflix, not even to my worst enemy.
No! I would not recomment netflix to nobody, not even my worst enemy.
Yes! I am always recommending Netflix to my friends. I prefer the DVD mail service. It’s nice to get something in the mail besides bills. For under 8 dollars a month you can’t find a better selection or service.
No. Absolutely not. Too many rebuffering time-outs. It loses connection in the middle of a movie. Very substandard streaming.
I have logged onto many films tonight and just a few minutes into the movie, it starts to “reload” and then it’s stuck! Gone to many sites on your page and other than this, I can’t find a place to get help. You need a help line with a living being to respond to questions and problems. I’m ready to cancel my subscription like others and go to the Dish network
I love netflix, who needs cable. I tell all my friends all the time. About 30 sec and movie is downloaded. Plus you even know what i like, it’s always so hard to decide which movie to watch and i can take them anywhere, they’re on my laptop. Keep up yhe good work.
Okay….I’m done. Too many interruptions to the ancient movies we watch ….time to yell “Uncle” ! Goodbye Neverflix…….
