“Some Netflix customers were upset by the price hike”
You have got to be kidding! Netflix management seems surprised that customers would be angry an cancel after having their prices jacked up by 60% overnight. Netflix CEO Reed Hastings said, ”we have to face those subscribers who are upset by the price hike this quarter.” Vote with your comments below–what do you think Netflix should do to make it up to you?

Invest technology in 100% streaming. Get rid of the stupid mailing of disks back and forth. Change price structure to from the current basic screening to a higher price for different levels of the newer relesses per month. With all this talk about saving energy and closing 4,000 post offices you are going to need to adapt or die anyway.

In response to Mr. Kis, I, for one, am not online at home and therefore streaming would not work for me. I use my library’s wifi for e-mail, googling, etc.
Netflix’s price hike is, I think, a bit much. It is understandable that many customers are enraged and are cancelling their subscriptions!
You can’t take something away from someone and not give something back in return , never worked , never will.
Give something extra, to compensate for the change.
Keep the peace , and happiness going.
If you break something ,make it better.
PS. Block Buster didn’t.

We cut back to one disk a week so our monthly bill would be $8.00.
Once in awhile we would do streaming and then without any notification our bill went to $17.99. It would have been nice if we had been given prior notice. We are seriously considering eliminating the disc and hope that the streaming works out its kinks and expands their selection of titles and also adds more current titles.
