If we had an “unlike” button, we’d put it on this post, but Facebook wouldn’t create one for us, so you’ll have to settle with what we’ve got. Outrage! Greed! Corporate malfeasance! Can you believe that Netflix is actually raising prices by 60% today? Be heard and let us know what you think of the price increase!

Back in July Netflix decoupled their streaming service and DVD service in an effort to raise customer prices. In a recession? Yes, the price of DVDs plus streaming rose from $9.99/mo to $15.98/mo, a 60% increase! To rub it in, the Netflix CEO says he “feels great about the Netflix price increase.” Sign in to your Netflix account today to change your selection of streaming or DVDs to avoid getting charged the extra money.
Too much at once! I realize prizes go up but come on!
I am paying more for less service. Because of my hearing loss I need captioning. Now am I getting some disks without captioning. The are of not value to me because I can and only look at the vedio without any understang of the audio. Last night I tryed to look up the ones that stream vedios with subtitles or caption (they are not the same) and the file was empty.
Roku has added subtitles to their service but no captions. Took several calls to Roku and Netflix before, someone told me told that subtitles and caption were not the same. Could find only 2 that had subtitles. Roku will subtitle but not caption. In order to get captions while streaming must either move my computer to the living room or watch in my office. Neather Roku or Netflix will help. Unless the service inproves will cancle both.
i am on fixed incomeand cannot afford increase.
I will cancell if its not taken care of soon the price hike
I dont like waiting so long for a movie when i should be able to watch it right away for a old movie.
Due to the ridiculous raise in Netflix prices I had to lower how many dvd’s out at one time. This is only making me look into other places to get my DVD like Blockbusters. I joined Netflix due to so many friends said how good it would be for me due to I am disabled it used to be reasonable priced and many selections. Then they did the crazy jump in price I had to go to a lower plan and am looking into joining Blockbusters there new releases come out earlier that Netflix and is not as expensive. NETFLIX YOU TOOK A GOOD THING AND TURNED IT INTO A WASTE OF MONEY WHEN YOU CAN GET IT ELSE WHERE CHEAPER
i get two movies unlimited for 11.99 a month no streaming and thats fine. to me its fun to come home and see movies in my mailbox. people bitch for nothin. i still happy with netflix.screw streaming. i get my moneys worth. look at your plan options carefully.if you add the movies up its still cheap.Goin out to the movies 10.50 and then u pay for snacks.blockbuster one movie for 9.99. i get two for 11.99, i watch two movies a week and thats 8 movies a month.so i save alot with netflix. so i stay with netflix .
I do not like the price increase. The service has decreased. The price increase might be OK if there were more popular current and new releases in play instant. But the service is the getting bad, 1/3 log ins fail. Im thinking whats needed is some compition.
I am outraged at the increase in price! I am disabled and decided I could afford 10 bucks a month to have a dvd and stream. Almost immediately the price increased! What a jack!!! I am checking into Blockbuster and other options. I don’t care for all the commercials on the free sites yet it may be that being poor means I can’t watch much period! At a rate hike of 60% I feel almost raped! Not to mention the representatives were like well we didn’t know when we signed you up….Really? Not even the Reps knew? Talk about a SUPER SECRET PRE-MEDITATED ACT!
You will not get repeat business from me! U fkn suck!
